Alex & Sara
Hey Y’all! We’re Alex & Sara Lucas! In our 12 years of being together we have grown up together, welcomed some cats & dogs into our home, started a photography business (like, HELLO!), and had two darling children, Leta & Jax. After 7 years of wedding photography we have become more and more connected to our couples and their families. So it was an easy decision to ditch our day jobs and take this full time! There isn’t anything better than photographing couples on the best day of their life. Although it would be arguably better if we could do it with queso & margaritas in our bags.
The Story of Us
Maybe it was our love of all things Chip and Joanna, our amazing taste in Netflix shows or our deep love for take-out that lead us together… (OR a chance meeting at the mall with some friends when we were 14.) We blissfully got swept up in a whirlwind romance, fell madly in love for what seemed like forever and were torn apart by our distance – Ok so, It lasted 2 weeks, we lived 30 minutes apart and we didn’t have cars. #teenagers.
A chance meeting brought us back together, (I think it was on the front porch at a mutual friend’s house?) and from that moment on we were inseparable.
What tore us apart now brought us back together (We had cars. And were also adults.) and our love story blossomed into a New York Times best-selling rom-com… 😉

120 PLANTS IN OUR HOME (AND COUNTING)
I’m Sara! I’m pretty much that girl who believes everything deserves its own song & I’m the queen of lyrics. I tend to sing a little behind my camera while shooting which means you might hear me before you see me. I keep a contagious smile 99% of the time & I’m that girl who is so bubbly and excitable I practically skip when I walk. I’m loving being a mom to our 5 year old Jax & baby girl Leta, an addict for sappy love stories movies or tv shows, and crying while watching them. (I’ll never let go Jack!) After having my own babies I rarely make it through a wedding day with dry eyes. When my time comes it’s going to be surreal & I know it’s taught me to capture things in a whole new way since becoming a parent.
You’re probably wondering about the red hair. Yes, it’s natural and usually incredibly curly. I do enjoy being part of the elite tribe of gingers that represents the TOP 1% of the population. I have an ultra love of everything white with a touch of plant – how Sara hasn’t lost her mind 120 plants into this hobby. I’ll never meet a stranger & I am super easy going. When I’m not chasing our kids around or Netflixing with Sara you can bet I’m checking on my plant life or working on my pottery. I’m pretty much the sarcasm king & collector of all hobbies.
Andrew & Sydney
Hey Guys! We’re Andrew and Sydney Roberson! We’re college sweethearts, best friends, and always a little goofy. We love our people and loyalty is our middle name. There’s nothing we wouldn’t do for the ones we love. And that includes you. Our clients are more like friends and we have loved getting to know our couples over the years. We are at our happiest in the great outdoors and thankfully the South allows for some gorgeous outdoor weddings filled with fresh air, fun, and sunshine.
The Story of Us
Hey! We are Andrew and Sydney Roberson! We have been together for over 11 years! High School Sweethearts, and being each other’s first and only love- we say we hit the jackpot pretty early in life! If you ask Andrew how our relationship started, he’d say it was over Sydney’s fake tattoo (we were 16 and 19 at the time and this fake tattoo was a terribly drawn, Sharpie peace sign. #badtothebone )
Fast forward to today, neither of us bold enough for a tattoo, but always ready for an adventure filled with laughter. We love taking our 1 year old Mini Australian Shepherd with us anywhere we go, and you can find us on a disc golf course most any weekend! (That we aren’t working of course!)
Our belief is that every wedding deserves its own story, and even the little side stories too. So in 20+ years you can see and hear WHY you were laughing at your maid of honor as she helps you put your wedding shoes on, or listening to your dad’s voice quiver in his speech at your rehearsal dinner. We have been wedding videographers, creating beautiful time capsules for over 5 years now. Specializing in storytelling and creating family heirlooms is our passion, and we are ready to pursue your story.

Hey, I’m Andrew! I’ll sing along to most every song and am a holder of useless knowledge that might only come in handy if I’m on Cash Cab. I always smell fresh because I’m a cologne connoisseur. “Creed Aventus”- look it up and thank me later. I love the connections and the relationships I make at weddings and becoming friends with my couples. That emotional tie really makes every wedding stand out and even more special.
I’m Sydney! I enjoy working quotes from my favorite movies and shows into my daily conversations, Im always willing to show people pictures of my Mini Australian Shepherd, Winnie, and I love making people laugh. I’m a sucker for a good story in movies and in real life, so note readings at weddings are my absolute favorite. 😉 I love capturing memories that people are able to look back and see themselves laughing, and hearing themselves talk about the love of their life. As we get older our bodies and voices change, so capturing a precious time capsule is what makes video so special to me.
Hey, I’m Leigh Ann but my friends call me L.A. You can find me hanging out with my husband, Josh and our two little boys, Dixon and James when I’m not hanging out with you and my camera! My favorite color is pink, especially rose gold and glitter. I love fresh flowers in my kitchen, pedicures, and am always down for Mexican food! It doesn’t take long before I say or do something awkward and then we become great friends.
I am an Arkansas native who recently moved to Alabama after spending 3 years in DC. This girl was ready to get back to her southern roots! You really can’t beat the South- the people, the food, the views, and the college football of course (SEC!!!)
I’ve known my husband since 8th grade but didn’t start dating him until I was 21. We got engaged in 2017, married in 2018 and welcomed our first child in 2020. My most favorite job of them all is being a mother to the sweetest little girl, CJ.
We believe that some of the most romantic moments are the ones when you are laughing together until you cry or snuggled up to watch Netflix and you let THEM choose – Compromise they say.
