A Summer Wedding at Shoal Creek Country Club

What a beautiful Summer wedding we have for y’all today! It’s a gorgeous one that took place at Shoal Creek Country Club. We are having a lot of venue firsts this season and we absolutely love “crossing” these off our list. It’s fun being somewhere fresh & new to you. We find this helps fuel our art & creativity even more. Jamie & Foo are also sooo easy to celebrate. They are kind, fun & so dang sweet. It also goes without saying that this is one of the most humid wedding days we’ve ever had. So if you notice a little something extra in some pictures…it’s not fog haha. It’s actually steam. It wasn’t painfully hot but the humidity made us realize we definitely do live in the deep South. So Jamie & Foo are also huge troopers. They made taking photos extra fun & we loved that despite the level of being a bit uncomfortable outdoors that they were still happily abiding to being toted along to some locations we knew would make their photos pop.

Huge shout out to one of best wedding friends in the industry, Anita with AK Brides. She was running along with us to ensure this day stayed on time, people stayed comfortable, dry and happy. We have worked so many weddings with her and she is always so incredible & is such a valuable asset to our couple & their families & friends. We can’t do all that we do without a wedding planner like her!

We feel so blessed to have lived this day with all of these wonderful people. Thank you so much Jamie & Foo for choosing us to celebrate alongside you. We know you guys are going to have a lifetime full of joy. We hope you had the best time on your honeymoon and so look forward to seeing all the adventures you share together.
