The Videography Edition
Ahhh, the age old question. First looks are not an essential part of the wedding day. However, we do find that our couples who choose to do a first look get more photos, have smoother wedding day time lines, and can have a sunset ceremony.
Our highlight film is best described as the “wedding album for videography”. It’s the 5-7 minute video that replays the best moments of the day surrounded with the most impactful audio to best capture the day’s emotions. The highlight film is the video that pops up on Facebook and always makes us cry!
This is an option as an additional fee but isn’t something we recommend. We like to make sure your day is captured in it’s entirety and that it is reflected well in the highlight film and the wedding ceremony video.
We strive to get the video to you as quickly as possible. Trust us, we are just as excited to deliver it as you are to receive it! For this reason you can expect to receive your final product within 12 weeks after your wedding day!
Yes! There are two sets of husband and wife teams at AL Weddings. Alex & Sara Lucas are your photographers, and Katie & Alex McKown are your videographers. Nothing like 2 couples who have been there and planned that to help you with your wedding day!
As much as it may look like we only photograph or video models, 99% of our clients haven’t been photographed since their college graduation. Trust me, you’re not awkward!!! Even if you are a little nervous, that’s perfectly normal. After 10 minutes with us, we promise, you won’t even know you’re being documented.
Anything on Netflix is certainly fair game. We are currently spending our non-working hours reliving “Friends”. The best classic!
