Usually, the months leading up to a wedding can be a little stressful. Those of you who have been married know what I’m talking about. Right? Making sure the bridesmaids all got their dresses. Putting the final touches on the details. Finalizing payments and schedules. It can get a little hectic. Unfortunately, Cheryl and Stephen had, even more, to worry about in the final quarter of wedding planning. Stephen had some Heath issues leading up to their big day, and we could see that Cheryl and Stephen were being challenged. But all of those stressful nights come to a big sigh of relief after the first look when the bride and groom say “today is the day.” One thing we learned about Cheryl and Stephen is that challenges are what they live for! They wake up and just want to overcome whatever they can and make it look effortless. Being personal trainers, fitness models as well as small business owners, we knew that whatever challenges came their way, they could handle it and do it with a smile. That’s exactly what happened!
I’m very thankful to have worked with a couple like these two. They went beyond the typical client/ friend relationship. Because Cheryl and Stephen planned to let the Create Team (our office partners) help on her wedding day, this was a very monumental wedding for us. A wedding where our whole office worked together. From flowers to cake, from video to decor, it was all planned “in house.” I think we all connected with Cheryl and Stephen in a way that wasn’t typical for most of our clients.
So it’s easy to say that their 1920’s Gadsby theme (by day) and Speakeasy theme (by night) was one that we’ve been waiting for since we first met them. I’m speechless for how the wedding turned out! Everyone went above and beyond. Not just the vendors – Cheryl and Stephen went above and beyond for us too. Allowing us to become more than just their photographers. We’ve become friends, and all of the vendors have become more of a family. Words can’t describe how much fun it had the chance to work with our best friends and getting to know Cheryl and Stephen along the way.
Cheryl and Stephen, you truly warm our hearts with your hospitality and humbleness. That goes such a long was, and it’s something that we don’t take lightly. You guys have truly found your soulmate. Every client from this point forward has some big shoes to fill. We love you guys so much! Enjoy.
