A Countryside Wedding

Well, HAPPY MONDAY FRIENDS! We are so excited to share this sweet countryside wedding with you all today! It was such a great Holiday weekend filled with too much food, sweets, & snacks! It is always nice to break away and enjoy some much needed time with family. We couldn’t think of a better wedding the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Sweet Brittany & Trey came to us from a fellow sweet bride & groom that just celebrated their big day in October. It brings us so much joy when a bride loves us so much she shares with other friends of hers; it truly makes our world go round and this little dream of ours can continue to go. I was just reminiscing about our holiday off time how thankful I am for all the couples that choose us to capture their big day. Sure in the realm of jobs we aren’t saving lives doing what we do but we are making those living their lives to be able to be remembered forever. It’s great being able to step back from all that social media begs for us and just take a deep breath and enjoy this time we are given.

There was a lot of emotion on Brittany & Trey’s big day. Brittany is such a strong and kind woman & Trey treasures this about her. Brittany had to celebrate her wedding day without her mother by her side. Oh, how I felt for her. I do know in my heart that her mom was watching down loving everything that went on that day. Brittany & her Dad had just about the sweetest Father / Daughter first look that we have ever experienced! The amount of love, happiness & smiles is quite possibly the best thing about these friends & family. There were tears but the tears were always followed by plenty big hugs and love. Brittany carried a sweet photo of her mom on her bouquet. Which kept her very close every moment of this day. Even sweeter; they used Brittany’s parents toasting champagne glasses and cake cutting set. We are suckers for some heirlooms; whether they are grand or simple they mean so much.

We couldn’t be more happy that our entire team got to stand beside these two and support them on their new journey. It was an absolute blast spending the day with them and will be a wedding that we hold near and dear to our hearts throughout our career.
