AHHHH! My bestie is married & I couldn’t be more thrilled that she found the perfect lady to stand next to her for life. I have known Lauren AKA LoLo AKA the one in the suit since the young age of 7. After meeting at an apartment complex – crazy right? Well little did I know we would become life long friends through thick and thin. Lauren moved away to Arizona at some point after that. Crazy as it seems I don’t even remember when it actually happened. I remember the phone call & my slight devastation at the time haha however, I wasn’t away for long because like any great friend I made sure to visit. Arizona. In the MIDDLE of the frickin SUMMER. When they lived in Alabama I was at their house more than my own so for this very reason I became the adopted child of the family. They could never get rid of me & I could never let them. Each and every one of them are so much a part of me & I adore her family for it. We don’t talk every day & sometimes with life it begins to be a very long time before we see each other; however, we always pick up where we left off. It’s just that simple. Truly, I could talk all day about the impact Lauren & her family made in my life – it’s a friendship I wouldn’t trade anything for.
I thank God for Ashley AKA Awol AKA the beautiful one in the dress. HAHA I mean I never knew what the one would look like for my best friend. However, as soon as we met her it just fit. She was quirky, silly, and a great big ball of fun. She brings the best out in Lauren & that’s truly what we all need. The way she loves Lauren is a fairy tale & even if she didn’t have such an amazing personality the amount she loves my best friend is just good enough for me. So naturally regardless where these two were going to get married … like I said before … the wouldn’t be able to get rid of me. Ready or not here we are!!! Portland was an excellent choice for these two. Something quiet & away from all the hustle and bustle. It was a serious bonus that we had the opportunity to be Portland Wedding Photographers for a day!!!
This location is actually not what we planned at all the original spot was taken over by search & rescue the morning of the wedding and therefore we improvised. Every single person involved agreed this was so much better than we original place & it just felt perfect! They had to water to step into & they had the gigantic Portland forest surrounding them. STUNNING! Everything came together so nicely and I am just so happy for these two! We had a great time & loved having the pleasure to support these two in their new journey. I can’t wait to see my sweet friends again! ENJOY!
