HAPPY FRIYAY EVERYONE!! It’s been a wonderful week as we are preparing for Christmas, recovering from Thanksgiving, and also getting our list of travel needs for Hawaii in … 11 DAYS! What how has that happened so quickly?! Anywho, we had the absolute pleasure to photograph Miranda & Adam (+Stella the pup)! They really wanted a city overlook engagement session! So we paired their love for little parks with the beautiful skyline of the city and what happened was magical! We love couples that have so much excitement & joy for their engagement session. It makes the planning portion so much fun & we love when they think of ways to incorporate a little piece of them into their session!
When we first met up with them at Railroad Park in downtown Birmingham, very close to Regions Field if your not familiar with the area, I knew we would be having a great time because our love of long locks & an amazing beard is two things when combined create the perfect connection! HAHA! I mean it’s certainly not required but I am sure Miranda was thinking “Okay, I get it you really love my long hair and think its amazing!”. We just couldn’t stop talking about it! Not only that Miranda let us know how she knows not just one of our brides but TWO! You would think this is something that happens often but not so much when someone finds us organically. It made perfect sense that we got along with her and Adam so well because we absolutely adore their friends Laine & Derrick as well as Brittney & Austin!!
hen these two changed into their fun, updo our jaws dropped! Would you believe that Adam’s slim fit suit is from H&M! Alex left saying that he is going to have to make a stop by there because he had no clue how awesome their suits looked! So great job H&M! Miranda was wearing a gorgeous tulle gown from Rent the Runway which was wonderful as always! We have certainly never had bad luck with that place! These were some amazing outfits to pair with their overlook engagement session!
We usually work around our way to get to a spot with a clear line of sight to the city. There is always a spot we would love to use but never want to trespass on someone’s property. Well, wouldn’t you know that the sweet little lady that owns the property came up to us and said we are more than welcome to it! LIKE WHAT IS THAT REAL LIFE! I talked to her for a moment about one of our past brides that she knew and basically welcomed us there anytime … So, after that, we were all giddy because it’s literally the PERFECT view of the city and we had the owner’s blessing which really just made us happy!
We are so excited for Miranda & Adam!! Give this couple a huge CONGRATS after looking through their gorgeous images!
