We knew this was gonna be a thing. We knew they would get engaged. We just knew. Just like that feeling you get when you meet the one or you find the house of your dreams. Last year when we were working at a wedding with Brandon – DJ Well Dunn. (Allie & David to be specific) he spoke of “this girl”. He was full of joy and it was showing all over his face and body language. Brandon stated he didn’t want to jinx it and he sounded a little like it felt too good to be true. However, he couldn’t know for sure where it was going until they met each other’s parents. Values. We loved it. We loved Brandon and we certainly would love any girl he was willing to give his heart to.
Fast forward a couple weeks at Laine & Derrick’s wedding. Once again, Brandon was there doing his DJ thing but THIS time my friends … SHE was there. We rode the elevator with her and said: “Your name was Brittany right?” Brittany responded like any adorable lady would “No, my name is Ashley … who is Brittany?!” Well, there goes all of our hopes and dreams of meeting the girl he spoke of just weeks ago. Until she let us in on the joke and we were laughing so hard we knew … instant friends.
Brandon hinted to the fact that the parent meetings all went well and we knew … it was kinda big deal. It’s been enjoyable following their journey since. Watching them be just two peas in a pod together. The feeling we got being able to capture this portion of season of life they are embarking on is indescribable. We are thankful. It’s a pretty big deal to us and although we totally did see this coming haha we couldn’t be more happy to be right. They are literally perfect together and seeing them on Wednesday outside of a wedding day was just the cherry on top. They are so cute together.
We went back to the first place – where it ALL began. Just like their first date together they shared a cheeseboard and wine. Laughed and cuddled. IN THE SAME CHAIRS! Like what?! We can’t make this up and we are so thankful for that! They made their session so unique to them and we hope we did the first night justice! We loved every moment spent with them!
So, we will leave you, Brandon & Brittany, with this. Our wish for you, out of the many, may you never forget this season of life and all the feelings it instills on your heart. We know without a doubt if on your worst days you look back on this time together you will always make it through. Then on your best days shoot past the feelings of this time that are sure to grow even more! We love you both. Thank for allowing us to capture such special memories! <3

Thr journey continues. You two were made to travel through life together. The journey is just as important as the destination. Take advantage of all the pit stops…they are a vital part of your trip. All roads lead to great success in your marriage. Have a wonderful and adventurous trek…stay gassed up and ready to go. Always use God’s protection advice(gpa-bible). Love you two… Bob and jackie
