These two cuties rocked their engagement session on Sunday! There were so many elements about this session that captured their relationship and celebrated how far they have come! Chris lived on Morris Avenue while they were dating so this road holds a special place in their hearts. It’s crazy how much this road has changed in the past few years! There are so many new stores and fun places to eat & drink. It’s always been a special place for born and raised Birmingham-ians but it is a special place for these two that have come all the way from Boston, MA and Austin, TX too! Kayla and Chris met here in the Magic City 3 years ago at the last Thirsty Thursday Baron’s baseball game of the season. Now they celebrate their anniversary every year at that game. So sweet!
Kayla and Chris LOVE to travel and one of their first trips together was to Chattanooga, TN and it was also where Chris proposed! He took Kayla on a quick detour to Lookout Mountain on a trip one weekend to Knoxville and surprised her with a ring! So to replicate some of that these two chose this gorgeous Birmingham overlook to gaze over the city that brought them together. Their love story is one of our favorites and we CANNOT wait to capture their big day in May at the Donnelly House! Congratulations on your engagement you two lovebirds!
