Well, Saturday was quite rainy & everyone in Birmingham experienced some form of difficulty working around it. When we showed up to Ashton’s getting ready space I asked her how she’s doing & you would have never known that the rain was messing with her day. I don’t think it did & that’s why we didn’t see anything but laughter and smiles. She was there to have fun with her girls & marry the sweet man of her dreams. We truly have the BEST spirited clients.
We headed over to Bridgestreet Gallery & Loft which proved to be a GREAT rainy wedding day venue. It offers beautiful neutral walls which helped set the backdrop for many of Ashton’s photos. We knew she loved the neutral color pallette and it felt great to know we could still provide that & create images that she would still love, Rain or Shine! With a whole lot of prayer & hope – the rain stopped right at the end of the ceremony. We swooped the two up, drinks in hand, hopped in their classic car & took some portraits at one of our favorite city overlook spots. The fact this was able to be done was such a miracle to us. It was super windy but it was comfortable outside & these two still got portraits we had been planning for.
Congratulations Ashton & Cody! Thank you so much for trusting us with your special day. We had the best time celebrating your beautiful new marriage & watching you all dance throughout the night. Y’all are such gems and we are so lucky to have had the opportunity to share the day with you!
