Camelot Manor Spring Wedding

It’s been said that joy is a choice, rather than an emotion. I fully believe that. And so do Lindsey and John. Their wedding day was full of joy. But it was the bittersweet kind, as Lindsey’s precious grandmother had just passed away three days prior to their wedding day. But as the bride’s mom told me when I walked into Camelot Manor that day, they were all choosing to celebrate Lindsey and John’s marriage this weekend and would celebrate the life of the one they’d lossed the following weekend. I know that was so hard. But it was also so beautiful to be a part of it all. Lindsey and her family were full of jokes and there was no shortage of laughter throughout the day.

From the stunning florals from Boxwood & Bows, to the homegrown honey wedding favors by the bride and groom themselves, this day was full of special touches. My personal favorite was that Lindsey wore her grandmother’s earrings that her cousin also wore on her big day. It was special to capture these two in the getting ready room celebrating her in their own special way. The bride and groom shared an intimate sit down dinner catered by Bellini’s with family and a handful of close friends after their outdoor ceremony where the sweetest of toasts were presented.

Lindsey and John, thanks for including us in your big day! The intimate celebration you guys planned couldn’t have turned out any better. Thank you to you and your family for welcoming us in with open arms to celebrate alongside you while we documented your joyful day. My heart was so full driving away from your wedding day.
