Canary Gallery Wedding

THIS IS THE BEST MONDAY IN THE HISTORY OF MONDAYS! We had too much fun at Brittany & Chris’ Canary Gallery wedding this weekend. It was full of laughter, love, & friendship! Every wedding day we love to show up and get all the feels and the dream of “I want it to feel like I’m watching my best friend get married” was totally true for this day. I mean it felt like we had known Brittany & Chris for YEARS, but somehow we had only met Brittany last year at Casey & Kevin’s wedding! Let me tell you … I’m truly sad for all the missed hangouts we could have had but oh so thankful for being with these two on their big day.

It was truly a huge bonus that Casey & other upcoming bride Erin were there with us throughout the morning to help our oh so favorite lady getting prepared to meet the man of her dreams … AKA her groom AKA Chris haha. Casey & Erin laughed with Brittany & kept her company and were some amazing moral supporters & we couldn’t be more thankful for them as well; (There is a photo of all of us together at the end; it’s the biggest Alex & Sara sandwich we have ever made!).

The Elyton Hotel was the perfect background for a gorgeous getting ready & first look and it fit their wedding day so well! We are so happy to see this new hotel apart of the beautiful city center of Birmingham! Although the amount of snow that came the previous day only hung out at the very top of the Elyton in ice form and pretty sparse everywhere else we stayed plenty warm & had a great time being out and about throughout Birmingham! Also, the gorgeous white backdrop of the Canary Gallery was just stunning! The pops of color in the art throughout the gallery had us by the heart throughout the entire evening and we definitely have a new favorite spot in this gorgeous magic city.

This wedding day was the perfect way to end the year. We felt so loved and hope our sweet clients there felt the amount of love we have for them as well. It’s not often we get to be around multiple couples that we have gotten to photograph their wedding day but we left Brittany & Chris’ wedding day humbled. Our couples were gracing us with so many compliments and it made our world go round & definitely feeling head over heels with this career we have chosen. Thank goodness for Alex needing a little extra help almost 5 years ago because without that day I don’t know where we would be! It feels so great bringing some extra love and happiness into our couple’s lives and we couldn’t thank Brittany & Chris enough for choosing us and we sure hope you love all this beauty from your big day!! WISH THE COUPLE A HUGE CONGRATS!
