“Take us with you!” was what got this whole thing started. We were semi joking with Ashley, our friend over at I Do! I Do! Wedding Planning, when she was telling us about her upcoming Anniversary trip to Charleston, SC. Turns out about a week after that joke Ashley messages us and sincerely asks for us to come along and plan an evening to do the Anniversary session … we hesitated for … like a half a second and said: “OF COURSE!” I mean we were honored and just down right excited to get out and venture around somewhere new. We are truly travelers at heart but since baby; things have to be a bit more planned out. It took one trip to target and a baby carrier later and we were all set. We thought about just strolling him around, but the thought of my overly excited working brain and a stroller was just too much. It’s best to just tote the little guy around. It was worth it if I do say so myself [and I do say so myself]. So off we went! Read more about the travel story HERE! Alex had enlisted the help of a few friends close to the area for some awesome suggestions to shoot, and they did not disappoint. I mean truly … you could just go without any planning and shoot somewhere all day long. Charleston is hands down the most charming place we have visited yet. So quaint and sweet and I felt like it’s a place I actually feel at home. Although the house prices have a few more 0’s than we could afford =) We decided to plan a good walk from Rainbow Row all the way to South Battery St. We stopped along the way and shot at some key spots, but I sure can’t lie to all my friends… We stopped waaaay more than just a few times. These two showed up in their best gear. This floral dress from Windsor is drop dead gorgeous. I mean Ashley rocked it, but it is one of those dresses you just want to jump online and order the exact one for yourself. This lady has some great style! Lee was wonderfully snazzy as well. Their outfits and personality just paired so well with the Charleston vibe. I could not be more excited and proud of these two. Sadly I haven’t had the pleasure of knowing them the whole eight years of marriage, but I was more than happy to celebrate all eight years with them. What an accomplishment!!! I thank the world of friendships like these and can’t wait to see what is in store for these two and their future. Glad to know we always have someone to laugh with, eat with, drink with, and go to Charleston with. Truly some amazing friends to have and am blessed to know such a gorgeous couple inside and out. Funny: We did joke about just packing up and working there … We all see how jokes work out with us 4 😉 We’ll see you soon Charleston!
Congrats again you two cuties!

These are GORGEOUS! I absolutely love Charleston and I’m so jealous that you got to do a session downtown like that. I’m also so happy for you and I really hope that you get more bookings down there! 🙂
