We have such a special wedding to share with you today! Carson and Nicholas like so many of our sweet couples have had to reschedule their wedding date a few times. They’ve had to navigate these murky uncharted waters of planning a wedding during a global pandemic and had to make the tough decision to downsize their wedding day to immediate family. Carson and her mother, Jane, are both event planners so these two busy bees had to make a lot of changes very quickly and they did an absolutely beautiful job. There were so many special moments sprinkled throughout the day that made it feel so uniquely them. Carson and Nicholas are quite possibly the sweetest people on the planet and their day reflected so much of their hearts for others. Someone asked Carson a quick logistics question while she was getting ready and Carson ended her response with, “I just want you to have the best day.” It takes an extra special soul to think of others on a day that is traditionally so focused on the bride and groom but Carson truly wanted everyone present to feel blessed and have fun celebrating. And that’s exactly what happened. Everyone had such a fun and relaxed day full of laughter and love.
Carson really wanted to be able to throw her bouquet into the river next to their reception venue since they couldn’t do the traditional bouquet toss. So while we were out by the river taking pictures she saw a group of people on a whitewater raft and decided to throw it to them. This is hands down the coolest version of this tradition we have ever witnessed and I honestly hope this catches on. We think you’ve started something here, Carson! The guy who caught it was in fact single and we all wished him luck on his journey to find his future soul mate!
We were so honored to be a small part of this very special intimate wedding day. We loved getting to celebrate alongside these two and their precious family. Wishing you guys a lifetime of love and happiness!
