There’s a sense of camaraderie that comes from getting caught together in the rain with people. Right before Ali and Dylan’s ceremony, an unexpected rain shower came through at Douglas Manor. The radar showed it would be passing soon so everyone held tight a few minutes and shared umbrellas and huddled in close. The live string musicians were not able to play their music for the procession due to the rain. So the bridal party was quick on their feet and started everyone off in humming the familiar tune of “Here Comes the Bride.” We will never forget the beautiful sound of their friends and family humming this song as Ali made her way down the aisle. True joy beamed on Ali’s face as she walked down to her loving groom. It was one of the most special and intimate ceremonies we’ve ever witnessed.
You guys know we LOVE when couples write letters to each other!! Well, Dylan couldn’t help but write Ali FOUR letters so she could read them throughout the day. Y’all, these two couldn’t be sweeter or more in love! We are so honored that these two chose us to capture their wedding day! We loved getting to know Ali and Dylan and their friends and family! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers!!!
