Downtown Florence Engagement Session

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVE Y’ALL!  I know everyone is probably busy making last-minute grocery trips to the store, working off those extra calories preparing for too much eating tomorrow or even lighting the remaining candles in your house just to make the perfect excuse to buy just “a couple more”.  We have had quite the week with Jax getting sick after our wedding Saturday and then Sara getting sick after our engagement session Monday. Although we are feeling much better we are feeling a little confused about what day it is?!?!? HAHA.  Well, we are still very much in love from this Florence engagement session! Lain(E) & Derrick did so amazing and like many of our couples showing up stating their awakardness, never really been in front of a camera and no they are certainly not models … WELL, they were definitely not awkward and now they have officially been in front a camera & maybe should pursue their talent in modeling.  I guess that is if teaching Kindergarteners or running the family pool business doesn’t work out!

We were so excited to get out of town for a bit!  Any good excuse to drive for a couple hours jamming to all our favorite hits & most of all Usher is some of our favorite memories in the car.  So it wasn’t at all inconvenient to drive from Birmingham to Florence for an evening of fun.  Downtown Florence did not disappoint! We loved the cute bank and even more adorable fountain – crape myrtle combination.  Not pictured is the appearance of a sweet little squirrel that nearly landed on Laine & clearly just wanted his time in front of the camera too!

Also, modeling must run in the family because the two sweet Australian Shepherds are some of the best dogs we have photographed and they sure knew how to work the camera.  We definitely fell in love with those little fuzzy pups and will gladly be puppy sitters!

We are so excited to hang out more with these two next year at their wedding at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Muscle Shoals, AL.  We can already tell that it will be one to remember for sure! ENJOY!
