Two Things we love: Traveling & Weddings. When you then can combine that with any amazing couple and family – we are sold! Hailey & Taylor are just so cute. It was just a few months ago that we met them at Hailey’s brother’s wedding in Auburn, AL. We had no clue that day we would be able to celebrate with their family again not even a year later. So, on Friday we headed out for Lubbock, TX. Home of Texas Tech & Buddy Holly – who knew? There is a great deal of wind. In fact many people said that the 15 mph+ winds were “typical”. After the snow storm that hit Texas the week of their wedding we were all sitting around wondering exactly “how” we would get to Texas. Thankfully it was much easier than anticipated. We were able to fly the entire way there. We may or may not have waved at Waco as we flew past Dallas & maybe we saw Chip Gaines at the local Lubbock Target. Why he was there? Who knows but the guy must try to look like Chip if it wasn’t in fact Chip himself.
Hailey & Taylor had a beautiful day! The wind – despite still being a lot – actually was quite enjoyable midday. The winter temps weren’t all that bad and it felt great to feel something other than frozen cold. The sun was shining and we really loved celebrating with everyone at this gorgeous venue in Lubbock. We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to travel to such a quaint little town. Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride!
