INTRODUCING: Love Story Sessions

It’s pretty magical when something just comes together isn’t it? We are thrilled to introduce our new style of engagement sessions that we’re calling Love Story Sessions! This session is captured by both Photo & Video and will freeze your “WHY” forever. Before the wedding, before the kids, before the chaos there is a sweet college couple that said I choose you forever. As the years will roll on it can be hard to remember those young faces but we know how precious this time is as an engaged couple and it’s in our hearts to preserve it intentionally with only that sweet couple in mind. This is exactly why we came up with Love Story Sessions and no matter the story or how “typical” you feel it is. It deserves to shine in the uniqueness that is you as a couple. So sure – it might not be Seaside or the beach for it. Maybe it’s your college campus, the trip you took to the mountains, or just that place where you knew this one was it for you. We sit down with our couples asking questions and ensuring the decisions made to plan your session all point back to the purpose of telling a unique story of our couples.

The Deets

Who is it for?
This session is made for engaged couples wanting to document more than a typical engagement session. They are ready to share their unique stories with their friends and family along with preserving this story for years to come.

How is it different from an engagement session?
Typical engagement sessions are only photographed usually in the Birmingham area with 2 outfits and 2 locations from our “list”. However, with the new LS sessions we will help coordinate outfits, locations, and activities that are unique to your story. In addition to that it will also be documented by our videographers. There will be an interview during the session that we have audio of to ensure your story is also captured with audio.

How do I use it?
This is a question we get frequently. It can be hard to imagine how this will be or can be used. Just like your pictures you are able to use the video version as a save the date online. It will be so fun to share your story with your friends and family who may not know the details of how you fell in love. No need to repeat yourself over and over again because now your video will do it for you! It’s also a great piece of entertainment to share at your showers, rehearsal dinner or reception. People love a good story 😉

Do I have to travel?
Of course not! Traveling is not a requirement and we are excited to see where our couples fell in love around the Birmingham area.

For Paige & John Wilson (& many couples we work with honestly) they didn’t instantly know – that’s my person – until years later. Both of them had their own version of this “aha” moment that brought them back together and led them to spend some time by the ocean during quarantine in Seaside, FL. It was during that time they really decided this was it for them. So naturally for their session – we just had to go back! These two enjoy having fun and watching them together in the calm cuddling is a picture of what effortless love looks like & you don’t see that every day. So from fly fishing to riding bikes and finishing up with our toes in the sand we created a session that was full of fun & love that displayed who these two are together.
