Love, laughter, smiles and friendship is something we hope to share in with every single couple we photograph. To show up on a wedding day and feel like life long friends and even treated like family. We know we are living our little small business dreams, but we know if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life … well, let me say … I didn’t work Saturday. I didn’t do a single thing all day that I would label as work. I hung out with some amazing people and celebrated their union along the side of some other amazing friends and family. Devon + Alex have been full of such laughter and love from the very start. It didn’t stop on their wedding day not even for a second. I got to witness Devon shed a few tears of her own, but it wasn’t sadness at all except it was pure joy to be marrying her best friend. I also saw the Maid Of Honor Katrina write and read a very heartfelt speech that I will forever appreciate more than she knows. I learned something so valuable about these two from their friend Katrina … the twinkle in Devon’s eyes that I witnessed every single time I photographed her and Alex was the same twinkle she had since day one of meeting him.
Friends, these two are an amazing couple inside and out. I am so so SO grateful for sharing the day with them and feeling like we were hanging out with our best friends. I received an email from these two the evening of their wedding. It was so heartfelt, and they just thanked us for making their day; however, Devon + Alex we have you to thank … thank you for making us not work! It’s been such an incredible journey, and we appreciate being involved!! We love you two!
