Spring Wedding at J & D Farms

It seems like March is a little different every year & it’s certainly a month we really don’t know what we will get as far as weather goes. It turns out this year we receive an early Spring which is totally fine with us and to our surprise, Lauren & Jesse’s wedding day was filled with nothing but love & sunshine! With everything going on in our lives lately stepping away from the personal side of things and getting to work was so refreshing. Lauren & Jesse chose J & D Farms as their wedding venue and it felt so good to be back! It has been many years since we had the chance to enjoy the beauty the venue has to offer and they had even added a beautiful little white barn which is definitely a very chip & jo take on wedding barns.

Lauren & Jesse are just about as calm and collective as they come. They are full of love and joy & are perfectly content with going along for the ride. I think in turn it allowed them to enjoy a stressfree wedding day & sit back and allow things to unfold just as intended. This was great considering Lauren (oh poor Lauren) had really “messed” up her foot a few months back and was STILL recovering from the whole incident. Therefore, she was the very first bride to wear a boot for support on her wedding day. She was just as smitten as not having anything wrong. It was easy to see she was just happy to be getting married to the love of her life.

To add to the fun nature of the wedding day – this lovely group of people is actually family. Lauren is Alex’s cousin (not the first nor the 2nd but maybe the 3rd?) Alex has A LOT of family and seeing a group of them all in one place was enjoyable. For the first time ever they got to see and experience our work life & it felt good that even with family they loved the experience they got from us! We are so happy for Lauren & Jesse and can’t wait to see all the fun they have on their honeymoon in a little over a week! Congrats again you two <3
