Erin and Ethan are such a strong couple with a firm foundation in Christ. Their wedding day couldn’t have been any more perfect, and we count ourselves lucky to spend the day with such loving and supportive friends and families. Erin and Ethan live out what it truly means to serve Christ as well as others. Not only are they strong leaders, but they are also super easygoing and really goofy! We had a blast capturing their wedding day. The letters they shared with one another were so heartfelt and gave us a glimpse into their love and affection for one another. We loved getting to know such a fun couple, and we are so excited to share their wedding film with you.
I wish we could share the whole ceremony with you because, believe me when we say, it was SOLID. Their mutual friend presided over the ceremony and shared some beautiful words about each of them individually and as a couple. He brought a powerful message that had everyone choking back tears from start to finish. You could just feel the love and excitement in the room. Everyone was attentive, smiling, and excited. The big moment everyone was looking forward to (especially Erin and Ethan!) was the kiss. This sweet couple saved their first kiss for the alter. That’s right, their FIRST kiss! Everyone in the room was on the edge of their seats by the time they were ready to be announced as husband and wife! If you look closely, you can see Ethan mouthing the words along with the pastor, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.” He had been waiting to hear those words since the day these two lovebirds met!
The day was relaxed and easygoing. We were met with mixed sunshine, clouds, and a short afternoon shower (it wouldn’t be Alabama without the ever-present threat of rain), which quickly passed and led to a clear and beautiful evening. After the ceremony, the crew at Matthew’s Manor did a quick and impressive job flipping the room for the reception. The night was filled with laughter and music, and once the reception got into full swing, everyone jumped on the dance floor to show off their moves. We film a lot of weddings so believe us when we say we were super impressed by this couple’s dance moves. We are always encouraging couples to get out there, and dance, not only for the sake of great photos and video, but this is a day to celebrate, right?! So don’t be afraid to be yourself and HAVE FUN! You couples out there that have wedding dates approaching don’t feel like you need to hang back, get out there and shake your tail feathers. You won’t regret it.
