OH MY GOODNESS!! Please imagine that in my singing at the top of my lungs during golden hour voice. We left the wedding Saturday with extremely FULL hearts. Katie & Caleb had one of those weddings where at the end of the day I’m saying to myself “this is why I do what I do”. Now don’t get me wrong I love every wedding day and am so happy but the gratefulness and love pouring out of their hearts for us and us for them were like no other. They actually invited & demanded we eat their first dinner with them. Like, WHAT?! However, when a bride asks you to eat Post Office Pies for dinner with her … you do it. NO questions asked. Katie is a very sweet soul and was probably one of the sweetest acts by a bride. It’s her special day, not ours but there she was giving like she always has.
Now, food is a quick way to our hearts! Let’s be honest even more than that is wearing a great big heart on your sleeve. Caleb. I would never have guessed or even fathom how much he possibly loved his soon to be wife. However, after their absolutely precious note reading & first look I had a pretty good idea. We learned something so sweet about Katie. She wrote notes on her phone about her love for Caleb before she had actually spoken the words to him. She vocalized some of those sweet words to him during their note reading that keeps ringing through my head even on this sweet Wednesday! Don’t quote me but from what I can remember she stated, “I have loved you my entire life before I even knew you. I loved the thought of you as a little girl. I loved you before you had a name. Now that I have found you I will love you til the end of forever” … I was straight tearing up right along with Caleb. To be able to form words to tell the person you love exactly how much you truly care for them is such a gift.
Also, “IT’S LIKE RAAAAAAAYYEEAAN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY!” haha. Let me hear you!! I don’t just wish for rain but man oh man I love telling the story about the rain. If rain truly does bring good luck to a marriage than these two are 100% destined for eternity together! SO MUCH rain on Saturday! However, we were doing a happy dance for such amazing rainy wedding day photos! WINNING!
This wedding will always hold a very special place in my heart. We have grown very close to Katie & Caleb and we couldn’t be more happy for these two. They were made for each other and I am so happy that along with their friends and family we celebrated such a beautiful and special union. HUGE CONGRATS to these two!!!
PS. Can you find the the twinning moment during the wedding?? Comment and tell us who you think they look like?? Our vote .. RYAN REYNOLDS.
