Is anyone else super happy that Spring is here? Then not … then is … then not … Okay, well at least the flowers & trees are trying to get the Spring memo even if it seems like mother nature is trying to keep Winter hanging out for as long as possible. The Lucas household is saying “No Thank You”. We are not fans of the cold over here especially when no snow is involved and our darling little Jax is outgrowing all his Winter clothes.
We took a little time last week to hang out with Amy & Hayden and truly fall in love with their precious personalities. September really can’t come soon enough. When we started discussing what these two wanted for their engagement session they brought up the adorable way in which these two connected.
“Hayden and I met the summer of 2013. We were both working as summer camp counselors at Camp Fletcher in McCalla, Alabama (aka one of the best places on Earth!). We were co-counselors and become good friends with each other. We started dating a few months after camp ended.”
Well, one place we knew would be absolutely perfect for them was Oak Mountain State Park because of it’s wonderful “camp” elements and we just couldn’t help ourselves to make sure to incorporate their story into their session. We had a blast getting to know each other and makes us even more excited for their upcoming wedding at Aldridge Gardens with Kendal Perry Wedding Planning, Louise Hewlett Floral Design, & Happy Catering Company! We know in such a beautiful location with such a sweet vendor team that these two will have a gorgeous wedding day filled with lots of love & happiness! Enjoy you two!
