HELLO FRIENDS!
We are so in love with this sweet wedding this past weekend. We encountered a little bit of rain; however, that didn’t get us down one bit. The car was filled with umbrellas in case the sky decided to let a downpour occur, but all that ever came about was a few sprinkles. Our umbrellas have a pretty miraculous story … it dates all the way back to our very own wedding. We purchased about 10 wedding umbrellas for our May wedding just days before we said: “I Do”. The day of our wedding it was supposed to storm & it did but stopped just in time for the first look & ceremony! YAY! They were from Amazon so we didn’t really feel like returning was worth the hassle. So we have kept them. Now in all seriousness, when we remember to pack them – because let’s face it sometimes while running out of the house looking like a pack mule … we can forget. However, when they make it to a wedding day … the rain holds off. When we forget them it seems to always be a more difficult day without them. We have gotten really good at never forgetting!
Brittney & Austin we have grown to love so very much! We did their engagement session last year & have kept in touch throughout the months. Needless to say, we have really been looking forward to this day! We are so happy for these two 🙂 It seems like a perfect time to share a little proposal story because this one is too sweet not to share! In her own words …
“March 27, 2016 -Easter Sunday. Austin and I had been joking earlier in the week about how we should hunt Easter eggs and how much we missed hunting Easter eggs when we were little kids. On Easter Sunday we went to church and to my grandmother’s house. We were almost back to my house when Austin asked if I wanted to hunt Easter eggs and I said “Are you for real? Just me and you?” He said “Yeah, why not?” And about that time he pulled a bag of Easter eggs from the back of his jeep. When we got home I ran inside to grab my mom to come and take pictures of us being little kids again. (She knew what was going on the entire time.) I hid his eggs first and he hunted them. Then it was my turn to hunt the eggs he had hidden. I knew I had to find 10 eggs, but I could only find 9. At this point I was getting frustrated because I could not find the last egg. So I told Austin to tell me if I was “hot” or “cold”. I proceed to keep looking for the last egg as he tells me if I am “hot” or “cold”. I’m getting “warmer” I am walk up the front porch stairs. About half way up Austin says “You’re cold, You’re cold”. I was really confused at this point as I stood in the middle of the stairs, so I turned around and there was Austin down on one knee holding a golden egg with an engagement ring inside and he asked “Will you marry me?” Obviously I said “Yes!!!” (And I cried like a baby! )”

My fiancée and I are considering a fall wedding at ShellB and came across these beautiful wedding photos. We were wondering though what the date was of this particular wedding? We thought we might be able to get a better idea of what the area around the venue will be like in fall if we knew the date of this wedding. Thanks in advance!
