Rainy Wedding Day at Shades Mountain Baptist Church

We are so excited to share wedding number 2 with you this week! It’s been the first of few this year that stayed on the original date with the original venue. It feels great for us to see a couple that got to hold on to more of their original wedding day plans. Despite the hurricane rain that came through these two were just all smiles and just so excited to finally get married.

The day was started at Shades Mountain Baptist Church. It was fun to see everyone walking around setting up for the ceremony and we know Heather being able to take that in too was such a treat. Not many brides or couples get to sit back and take a moment to relish in the behind the scenes of their wedding day but thankfully we know Heather got a few minutes to do just that. With all the rain going on that morning we were pretty cooped up inside the church but what a dream that this church had SO many big windows to take photos in front of.

After the ceremony we hopped onto the trolley and headed over to The Haven for their reception. Before all the dancing kicked off we thankfully were spared by the rain to get some photos outside at Railroad Park and then send the precious newlyweds on towards their reception to dance the night away with their incredible entertainment!

Thank you so much Heather and Connor for choosing us to share the day with you. We had the best time on Saturday and we are so thrilled to share these photos with you guys. You guys are about as cute as they come and we love your kind and easy going spirits on such a wet day! We hope you are relaxing big time on a beach and enjoying some much needed down time.
