What a beautiful and exciting way to kick off the New Year with these two beauties! We started the big day off hanging out at the reception location The Shorter Mansion. With 14 bridesmaids and groomsmen (that’s 28 total) we knew these two had quite an amazing friend group. I think it makes the biggest wedding party we have captured to date, but it was fun having so much extra help all day! What an amazingly supportive bunch!
Mary Cat wanted to have a reveal with her ladies and oh my goodness this dress is AMAZING! It truly fit her perfectly! The White Room did a great job in helping her find the perfect dress! She chose so many amazing details. I was in awh over her gorgeous pearl jewelry by Jordan Alexander. Like WOW, I was blown away and my little detail heart was very happy!! I also could not get enough of her bouquet. I really love a more wintery bouquet style and Wayne (a family friend) did an amazing job at designing and putting together this beautiful arrangement. I LOVE IT!
They chose to say “I do” at The Reeves Peanut Company in Eufaula, AL. When we arrived we learned this was an actual working peanut mill that’s owned by a family friend. These guys gutted the whole space to flip it into the ceremony location for the day. I could not have been more impressed. Those guys should really consider turning it into a wedding venue! We definitely loved the rough floors and exposed brick. SO beautiful!
For their reception, they chose The Shorter Mansion in Eufaula, AL. They had so many friends and family who came to celebrate their love and they chose an awesome band to help them party the night away. Creativity Band from Atlanta, Ga was so fan-tas-tic! They literally kept everyone on their feet all night and singing their hearts out. I believe we were spotted a few times throughout the night having a little too much fun – I mean how can you resist “YEAH!” by Usher!! It’s impossible!
These two were off to New Zealand the next morning to start a new journey. I have already been watching all the amazing things they are doing over there! They are truly blessed to have one another and the wonderful group they are a part of is so lucky to have them! We hope you guys are really enjoying it over there and having a blast!! We will definitely continue to follow your amazing journey!
