We have such an amazing couple on the blog today! Catherine and Ryan grew up together and have been waiting for quite some time to officially tie the knot. They have known each other since elementary school and have walked through so many seasons of life together. When you’re around them there’s no denying that they are soulmates in every sense of the word. They know each other inside and out and their love for each other shines through in these photos. Even after all of this time they are still so smitten with each other. It was such an honor to capture these sweet moments on their long awaited wedding day!

Catherine and Ryan got ready at the beautiful Elyton Hotel in downtown Birmingham. It is one of our absolute favorite places to shoot! If any brides out there are looking for a gorgeous space to get your bridal party ready look no further! The staff is so incredibly sweet and helpful!

After everyone was ready we headed over to St. Paul’s Cathedral which is one of the most beautiful churches in Birmingham in my opinion. The architecture is absolutely stunning and makes you feel like you’ve ventured into a church somewhere in Europe. Their reception was held here too in their Life Center which is also a beautiful space. We of course had to walk down the road to capture the sunset on the rooftop. The city looked extra beautiful on Saturday under a veil of clouds. These two lucked out with perfect weather! We’ve had a rough few weeks lately with the threat of Hurricanes and storms so we were all so thankful for this beautiful weather!

We loved getting to spend the day with these two and their precious families and friends! We couldn’t be more excited for you two and wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
