We had the best time celebrating Haley & Cody on Saturday at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens & The Club. Although we didn’t get a chance to officially meet these two before their big day – that didn’t change a single thing. Haley & Cody are so easy to talk to, photograph, and just overall is a fun couple to be around.
Haley chose something more unique for her wedding gown. Instead of a veil she wore a … CAPE. Yes, like a gorgeous veil like, flowing behind her, just making everywhere she goes magical – cape. Obsessed with it the entire day. Big bonus of a cape is that it keeps you warm … HAHA – well, not at all but it does avoid the headache a veil tends to cause after a long day blowing in the wind. We feel it gave a similar effect for photo as well so we truly feel she didn’t miss out on anything photo wise in choosing it over a veil.
As if these two couldn’t be more amazing – Cody also chose a fun addition to his attire. A peacock bowtie! It was so fun and a great addition to the color pallet they went with. He wore it well and we love that they chose some items a little less popular (but totally should be!)
