Chelsea & Brandon’s wedding day is one for the books! Maybe it was the sweet way they interacted with each other or quite possibly it was their selection of blues for the Bridesmaids and Groomsman. However, if none of those do it for you and they totally should then it will definitely be the fact that on a day we had 20% chance of rain … a random storm came out of nowhere and took the power out for the entire reception. YUP. At first it was quite unbelievable because it’s never been something we had ever encountered before. Thankfully, Ashley Stork with Magnolia Vine Events helped save the day by making sure the band would have a way to play! So, their setup was connected to a generator but just about everything else was a no go. It didn’t stop the party one bit and we are used to being at darker receptions so it didn’t throw us off either. The reception certainly turned into a #lightsoutparty and it was a blast!!
The day didn’t go quite as planned but in the end, these two got married and had fun doing it! We had a wonderful time celebrating with these two and their amazing vendor team. When we are at The Barn at Shady Lane it never is a bad time and everything always gets executed perfectly! Congrats again to Chelsea & Brandon!!! We hope you are having the time of your life on your honeymoon! CHEERS!
