Y’all. I honestly have no clue where to start with these two. First, what an incredible journey & friendship we have formed with them. We are certainly very first grateful for that! Their wedding was truly just what the doctor ordered this week & we enjoyed every bit of the freezing cold Winter (ahem, Spring) day. We showed up to the church Jenny & Jason were going to be married in and is also the sweet, sweet place in which they met. We should definitely thank God for that one because they are a perfect match!
Jason is FULL of energy, spunk, love, & kindness. I’m not sure I have met anyone quite like him and I think the world needs a lot more guys like him. He loves Jenny so very much & he has a style that is literally like no other. Which makes complete sense because he was totally Big AL at the University of Alabama. For those of you who might be unfamiliar with the South’s … correction … ALABAMA’s love for football; that is university’s mascot, an elephant.
His love for his college has not wavered and I have seen that time and time again. I’m not 100% certain but if it was Jason’s choice I think houndstooth everything would have been checked in every box of everything he does. At his engagement shoot, he even showed up in a FULL HOUNDSTOOTH SUIT … YES. HAHA! Well, you can then imagine we weren’t surprised by the black and red wedding band he chose, or the umbrella that he had in his wedding day essentials, or even his reception outfit. I mean this guy really knows how to spread joy, have joy & give kindness to those around him. His face during the first look is basically how he feels everytime he sees her I’m certain!
OH but Jenny. Then came along this sweet woman who knew just the wonderful person Jason was and continues to do so every day. I can see it every time he starts joking about the million things he makes jokes about or even just the way they around each other. She loves him so and it melts our hearts. A favorite part of the day that I won’t be an image below but was a moment. During the cake cutting, Jason was literally cheering Jenny on it seemed in the photos or but then the time came to grab a piece to give to one another. A look appeared in Jason’s eyes … you know … the smash cake in your bride’s face look. Jenny hadn’t seen it yet but she knew it would be on his brain and let him know kindly “Don’t smash it my face” haha he immediately then made a switch from Jokester to loving husband who would never haha. It was cute and it’s a moment we want these two to share together when they receive the gallery.
I love that Jenny incorporated so much of her family into her big day! Her best friend and two sisters stood next to her throughout the day and it was so heartfelt the entire day. It was like we were in on a little secret of their life together! Don’t they just look like they all love each other so much!
Despite the cold, these two were troopers. Despite the rain, they continued to push through. We made a stop by The Preserve, their neighborhood, on the way to the reception & these have got to be some of my favorite photos ever. Sure they have an umbrella but honestly, it just doesn’t look that gloomy to me. Their love lights up in pictures & they have such kind spirits. I’m actually pretty sad this day has come because it’s been such a wonderful adventure with them. We have definitely got to make sure we come by and share some memories over the tasty grub we eat at dinner! Let’s give this couple a HUGE CONGRATS! Thank you so much for allowing us to document such a special day. It was truly our pleasure. Love you guys!
xoxo
