There are just TOO many wonderful things to say about Lauren and Tucker. They are simply amazing individuals and one heck of a couple. These two walked through 10 long years of dating and long distances to get to their wedding day. Each of their jobs has taken them all over the country at different times over the years and then back again to sweet home Alabama. These two are HUGE Alabama fans, and I just don’t think it would be a proper blog about Lauren and Tucker without saying ROOOOLLLLL TIIIIIIDEEEEEE!
There were so many details sprinkled in throughout their wedding day. You could tell that 10 years of thoughtful planning had been put into this day. The sweetest detail is that Lauren and Tucker chose to be married on Lauren’s maternal grandparent’s (Mimi and Pop) 54th wedding anniversary, December 29. Lauren said, “Growing up and seeing the love that they shared for one another made me always know I wanted to get married on their wedding anniversary!” Her grandfather is no longer with us but I know their family felt his presence there that day. Lauren and Tucker chose to have their wedding in Lauren’s hometown of Aliceville, AL. Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at her Mimi’s house just a few miles away from her home church and ceremony location, Aliceville First United Methodist Church, where all of her family members have been married in. I don’t think it gets any more special than that you guys. Makes me misty-eyed just thinking about it!
Lauren was absolutely breathtaking in her Heidi Elnora dress. We are still obsessing over it! Soooo pretty! Be sure to see how it twirls as Tucker spins her around the dance floor during their first dance!
Lauren was very intentional about using as many local vendors as possible from her hometown. Many of them are close to her family and some are even talented family members! Check out this amazing team of vendors!

OH MY HEART! I can’t say enough wonderful things about AL Weddings Wedding Videographers Katie and Alex! Tucker and I are SO happy with our highlight film! Everytime I watch it I get teary-eyed and it immediately takes me back to OUR BIG DAY! Katie and Alex, you both were a dream to work with!
