Adam and Marie’s story is one that we get to cover from proposal all the way to the wedding day. Thats pretty exciting for us! We were contacted back in March to photograph the proposal. Sara and I felt like secret agents as we followed Adam to the tree house at Red Mountain State Park. It was about a mile that we had to walk. We had to stay far enough back so Marie didn’t see us but close enough that we could take pictures.
Fast forward a few months and we are now taking their engagement session photos. We headed to English Village to start their session. We’ve been out this way a few times but never really shot there before. It was nice to change things up a little. For the second part of the session we headed to a secret spot that overlooks Birmingham. This spot is my all time favorite vantage point of Birmingham. You just cant beat it! Marie knew the owners of this land and got us permission to shoot there. Adam and Marie wanted a very laid back / whimsical theme for the second half. So they decided on a small picnic as we all watched the sunset over the Magic City. All around the day just couldn’t have gotten any better. It wasn’t too hot, the lighting was beautiful, Adam and Marie did perfect in front of the camera, and we all just had a blast. To Sara and I this session was the definition of “Nailed It!”
We know you guys will feel the same.
