Oh my goodness yall! We have a super cute blog for you guys today. Kaleigh and Jordan connected with us after we shot Kathryn + Brendan’s wedding last year, where she was a bridesmaid. If you guys remember Brendan’s story he and his family was from South Africa. Unlike Brendan Kaleigh has lost most of her South African accent and traded it in for a good ole Southern Accent to match Jordan’s.
Just like Sara and Myself these two met several years ago in high school! We just love hearing stories about prom and Friday night football games like Sara and I had. We don’t get to hear them too often. After spending some time with these two it was easy to see what kept them together for all these years following high school. Now, with both of them following their dreams at UAB, Kaleigh as a Nurse and Jordan in school for Business, it just fills out heart with joy to see a couple so similar to us.
Heck, we even photographed these two at the place Sara and I got married… As I’m writing this I’m nothing even more similarities. Weird =) We headed to Avondale Park for their engagement session. After having to cancel their session due to rain 2 weeks ago, we set off on a wonderful, clear, sunny afternoon everything was magical. Only to show up and the sky become full with clouds and a slight drizzle of rain. Hahaha. Sometimes we have the best of luck BUT the session couldn’t have gone better! You can’t even tell it rained for most of the session.
