A Spring Wedding at The Theodore

We had the best time on Saturday celebrating sweet Devin & Andrew on their wedding day. We are in awe of their outstanding cuteness and their hearts for tradition. It was a fun morning looking over the locations for their day and Devin really wanted to take some portraits at Avondale Park which is basically a hop, skip and jump away from their ceremony venue, Redeemer Community Church. As most of you noticed the rain held out to make this wish come true and we were thrilled! Exactly 5 years ago on the weekend, we were celebrating our own marriage at Avondale Park so it was quite sweet to be able to walk those grounds again!

Before the ceremony, Devin & Andrew exchanged gifts with one another & our hearts melted when we saw them! Andrew gifted Devin a pearl necklace and Devin gifted Andrew a compass with the sweetest engraving on it – you’ll have to look to see! Then to bring all the emotions to light they held hands around a corner to avoid seeing each other but it was touching none the less. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a single dry eye in the room!

Oh y’all … them seeing each other for the first time is something that will live in my wedding brain forever. It was sweet and touching & it makes us have ALL the feels. Of course, post-ceremony it rained but these two were just as smitten with each other that nothing else really mattered. That’s a great and beautiful thing to witness! It was a blessing to watch these two swing each other around on the dance floor and fall more in love in those hours than a couple of hours before.

Devin & Andrew: We are so happy for you guys! Not enough words would accurately describe how thankful we are to have spent the day with you. All the laughing we shared together with you, your friends, and family will be a gift we forever cherish! Congratulations on your marriage and we can’t wait to continue to follow your sweet love story!
