Who doesn’t want a venue that allows you to stay in the same place all day and still offers beautiful locations for getting ready, ceremony, & reception? These venues have won our hearts time and time again and we love the ease they offer our couples on their wedding day. So take a look at our favorite Birmingham wedding venues that include a wedding day getting ready location, a wedding ceremony location, and a wedding reception location! All without travel or worrying about traffic!
ALDRIDGE GARDENS
Nestled in the amazing city of Hoover, Aldridge Gardens offers a gorgeous and spacious setting to show all the beautiful nature of Alabama. With a ceremony overlooking the pond and plenty of places for photos, Aldridge Gardens is easily a favorite of ours!
THE BARN AT SHADY LANE
The barn in the city! The Barn at Shady Lane has a sweet location in Hoover but it has plenty of room to roam and really giving you those “country” vibes without going far out of the city. It’s owned by Michael and Lindy which have become some amazing friends and we know they serve their brides well! A wedding day there will always be so easy & fun!
THE DONNELLY HOUSE
Right in the heart of downtown Birmingham, The Donnelly House is home to some of our favorite wedding day memories. On top of that it was recently home to the popular TV show “The Bachelor” so if that’s not pretty cool I’m not sure what is! It offers such an amazing historical character throughout the home and is such a beautiful setting for a wedding!
MATHEWS MANOR
Just a few minutes outside of Birmingham, AL, Mathews Manor truly offers it all! On top of being able to select various sites for your getting ready, ceremony or reception they also can take care of flowers, cake and catering for you too! This wedding venue has so much to offer and it’s always such a treat being able to photograph a wedding day here!
OAK MEADOW EVENT CENTER
Confession – this one is a little outside of Birmingham BUT it’s closer to there than any of the other major cities so it made the Birmingham cut! Once you visit you will know exactly why it HAD to make our favorite 10 list! All white everything which allows the details they added around the venue to really pop! Not to mention – talk about a blank slate and able to be used with various styles of a bride!
PARK CREST EVENT FACILITY
It’s hard not to LOVE Park Crest! Its home is in Hoover but so close to anything you could possibly need! They offer a gorgeous overlook for ceremonies or the best rain plan ever inside. Which we know in Alabama could be just about any time of the year! Every wedding we have had here was very easy on the feet and we (and our brides) are thankful for that!
HAMILTON PLACE AT PURSELL FARMS
Bringing the rolling hills to your wedding day dreams. There is truly so much to love about Pursell Farms and it’s quite possible their attention to detail when building the brand new Hamilton Place! It offers the best scenery that until now I didn’t even know was close to Birmingham (much less Alabama) and truly makes you feel like you have been moved to a different part of the country.
RENAISSANCE ROSS BRIDGE RESORT
This is quite possibly one of our many favorites because who doesn’t want to just walk a couple floors up to their hotel room after a night of dancing! It offers gorgeous locations throughout the entire wedding day and the staff is so helpful making this big place seem very small – which is a great feeling!
THE SONNET HOUSE
A sweet southern home to house your perfect day! I love that this place truly gives all the feels of getting married at a southern home except it’s not your home, you don’t have to clean up the next day & offers the sweetest little chapel .. you know just in case! A day at The Sonnet House is always such a fun and joyful day! Just makes our hearts explode!
STONEBRIDGE FARMS
We love everything Stonebridge has to offer beyond just getting ready, ceremony and reception. We truly love when our brides are able to stay at their venue the night before and feel pampered and this place does just that! A nice big house to hold the bride and her bridesmaids that allows the weekend to truly feel like a getaway – before the honeymoon getaway!
