We had such a good time hanging out and getting to know Ashlee + Matt. I think the engagement session consisted solely of funny stories. We both kept each other laughing throughout the whole time. This just makes the time fly. Matt told us about his old days in a band called Within Reason, and Ashlee talked about college days where she minored in dance. Which, both of those were total surprises. Now Ashley is a Registered Nurse, which so is Sara. They, of course, talked about things that went right over my head. Matt’s old band days kept my attention. One of the coolest stories he told me about was his band winning Gig of a Lifetime by CBS. Pretty much a power couple that has the same interests as Sara and myself.
From the get go, Ashlee + Matt just looked comfortable having their photos taken. This just makes our job way to easy. These guys were total pros. Not only was their chemistry amazing but their outfit choices were PERFECT. This is how you dress for an engagement session! I loved Matt’s bow tie addition, and you know Sara was in love with Ashlee’s tulle skirt
We usually meet all of our couples for a consult before booking. But this doesn’t give us a chance to get to know them personally. The engagement session does exactly that and after their session is was easy to see why these two ended up together. They’re the perfect fit for one another!
Their wedding at Avon Theater next March is one of our most anticipated wedding for 2017. We know it’s going to be a wedding for the books! We can’t wait.
