Hey there friends!! Wow! What a week it’s been so far! Did you see the exciting news?!? We officially launched The Married Podcast!!! More on that next week though. Today we wanted to share a bit about celebrating your wins in business! So often as a business owner I (Sara) find that we can focus too much on what isn’t happening in our business instead of seeing how much there is to be thankful for and truly celebrate the big moments! So, here are some things we’ve learned along the way to celebrate your wins throughout your business journey.
1. There is always something to be thankful for
Honestly, even on the hardest of days we always remind ourselves how blessed we are that we get to do what we truly LOVE to do! We love the couples we get to serve, we love working together, and we love the freedom that being in business has provided us with our family. We try so hard to focus on gratitude daily and find that on the days that we celebrate BIG wins, it’s an added bonus to what we’re already thankful for! The business journey can be so challenging at times but man, we’ve learned and we’ve grown in every season and for that we are thankful too.
2. Take time to celebrate, and celebrate WELL
This week we celebrated launching our podcast and we seriously could not believe that it was FINALLY out there! It has felt like such a labor of love for a while that when we finally put it out there, it didn’t seem real. But it was and we definitely celebrated that win!! Don’t forget to celebrate the small and big wins in business. Weeks like these are what help us keep going when business gets hard. It truly is the BEST feeling when you’ve accomplished such an awesome goal! Alex and I love getting to share in the joy of that together!
3. Celebrating Wins Keeps Us Motivated
You ever have a day where you just feel on top of the world and you could do anything?! That’s probably how we feel when we have a day where we celebrate a momentous occasion in our business! It helps us stay motivated because everyday is not like that. We hope to be wedding photographers for years to come and to serve so many more incredible people and what helps us do this is by taking time to celebrate all we’ve accomplished.
