The Clubhouse on Highland Rainy Day Wedding

We had the best weekend celebrating Lindsey & Jake at The Clubhouse on Highland which is one of our favorite wedding venues in Birmingham! We are so smitten with the touches that these two put into their special day and throughout the entire day we just felt so loved which made it that much easier serve this couple well.

Through the sun, the shine & the rain; these two didn’t complain one bit and neither did anyone else. I’ve got to say I was pretty impressed with the family and the wedding party for just enjoying the weather curves of the day just as much as Lindsey & Jake tried to. You truly can’t predict what kind of weather you will get in Alabama – no matter the month. After years of living here ourselves – this is our big takeaway from the sweet home state.

We couldn’t have imagined spending the day celebrating anyone else. We loved watching Izzy, the dog, run around and live her best day yet while everyone else danced until … well … until the end. Huge shout out to the band, Used Groove, for being such troopers when the rain started to come down outside. This couple was still able to have their first dances with a song playing and then we all briskly made our way indoors to stay dry!
