AHH! It’s the greatest man’s birthday today!! The very last day of the year and we get to celebrate the very best man alive! So happy birthday honey!! It’s been a wonderful year with your neverending love & support by our side. It’s not exactly strange that we are celebrating your 27th birthday. Although to some … it should maybe be closer to 33. Every year around this time I always think of the Birthdays that we celebrated before now. Most specifically I laugh at the first trip we took with your family to the beach. Both of us in the elevator and some stranger asks if I’m old enough for you? They were being so serious and concerned. They were certain that I was like 14 and you were well in your 30’s; either way … it’s probably a good thing you cut your hair off. Here we are still well away from that 30 number they thought you were and so many memories in between. Your birthdays up til now?? They have been pretty awesome. In fact … December 31st is basically the best and most fun day of the entire year. We always have some friends come over and we always play some stupid games while waiting for the clock to count down til 11 … and then we wait another hour until 12. Which will always be the hour that somehow carries us well into the morning hours. We will certainly have a cake that barely gets touched (WHY?!) & fill up on rotel dip & BBQ weenies. These things have basically become a tradition since that one time we went to NOLA for NYE. Do you remember it? Yea, me either. That’s certainly a story for another day or campfire.
Over the years I have got to walk alongside you as you made the biggest changes to yourself. It’s been the greatest decision I have made yet & I thank God for all the amazing memories we have made together. It will always make the days when I’m feeling a little lonely so much better because my best friend is right by my side; so do I really need much else? When money was low, when friends were at a minimum, & when everything else seemed to be going the opposite of what we wanted we had each other and thank goodness for that. Your the best gift of the entire year & sadly I can’t give you to yourself. So you won’t get the best gift but it will hopefully be a close second. 
I’m so happy you were born! It was the best day and I’m sure even at a wonderful 4 1/2 months at the time I was celebrating your arrival. There were only 18 birthdays I had to spend without you which is a pretty good percentage when we talk about being alive for like 100 years. What would I ever do without you? Thank you for being the best man, Daddy, Fur Daddy & Husband I could have ever dreamed of. You are certainly killing every role even if you doubt it every now and again. I will always be here to remind you, correct you on the # of whatever you’re trying to tell someone about, nag you about whatever else & love you unconditionally!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PUNKIN!
PS. OUR HAIR LOOKS SO GOOD! Why is it so hard to duplicate the amazingness on our heads!
