It’s been an insane time here in the Lucas household. Between Christmas, New Years and the new website release we have had plenty on our to-do list. Jax is just along for the ride (poor guy doesn’t have much of a choice). Sara’s brothers came into town for Christmas, and we got to have some much-needed quality time together. The time we have is never enough, but it was so much fun having them here to do things with. We played plenty of games, had fun at put (Alex won “it’s his birthday”), and enjoyed plenty of sleepovers at our house. Jax did get to have his first slumber party away from home with Gammy and from what we hear he had a very good time! It was a nice time to enjoy celebrating Alex’s birthday with a baby free brain.
Into the New Year, we released the new website, logo, and brand! We were just so crazy busy typing up all the new content for the website and making some other new amazing things for all our beautiful brides! 2017 is already off to a great start and can tell it is sure to treat us well!
Jax is working hard on bringing in his two bottom teeth. We see them poking through, but they aren’t all the way out quite yet. Overall, teething has been challenging at times, but he remains in good spirits. I find this impressive because I’m just certain it’s gotta be an uncomfortable process. He is currently just a scooting around the floor. Although he hasn’t quite figured out the formal crawling business, he gets to where he wants to go. It may not be pretty nor quick, but he arrives! This month he may or may not have turned into a little dinosaur, a raptor to be exact. He is consistently hitting the highest pitch screech he can make at the loudest decibel. It gets us rolling fast and not too far behind is me making the same high pitch screech right back at him. Alex is living in quite the loud house these days and he quite possibly wears ear plugs 74% of the day.
We know we are in for a crazy journey this year! We have some amazing brides already on the books; our little man will turn one in only five short months, taking trips from the east coast to the northern states, all the way to the west coast and let’s not forget Hawaii!
