Laken and Tyler waited oh so patiently for their wedding day and it was without a doubt worth the wait! Every detail was perfect and you could see all of the ways their friends and family poured into every step of the process. Laken and Tyler exchanged letters with each other before their first look and read them allowed to each other. This is hands down one of our favorite ways to see couples exchange their letters. It is the perfect time to review your story thus far and get excited about the ceremony ahead where you finally get to say “I do!” After their first look Laken and Tyler also exchanged gifts. Tyler gave Laken a book FULL of all of the reasons why he loves her. I mean, it was a novel you guys! It was so sweet! Then Laken told Tyler to open his gift and it was… wait for it.. A ROLEX watch. This might be the biggest gift we have ever seen exchanged at a wedding! She was so excited to give it to him and he was definitely surprised!
There were so many unique elements about Laken and Tyler’s wedding that we loved so much! One of our favorites was the painter Marx Studio who was there at the reception to capture the first dance on canvas. Be sure to check it out in the video! It was such a classy touch that made the evening feel so timeless.
