10 Things

We very rarely do any type of introductions around here. We may occasionally sneak some random fact about ourselves in a blog post but I thought it might be fun for each of us to go around and tell a little bit about ourselves. So today I’m going to start and share the interesting, weird, and random things about me

Let me tell you. This was actually pretty hard! You would think “10 interesting facts about myself… EAST,” We’ll it’s not. I spent a while thinking about this. So I hope it’s mildly interesting.

1. I HATE PICKLES!!! I can’t stand to even look a pickle. I avoid the pickle isle at the grocery store. It’s that bad! The worst part, Sara loves them. If she randomly snags one on a fast food burger, I won’t kiss her. For real! I hate them. 
2. If I wasn’t a photographer I would be a Forensic Scientist. Just like Nick Stokes from CSI: Las Vegas! Until my Junior year in high school, I thought this was going to be what I went to school for. 
3. I have watched more hours of TV than I care to admit. I know a people nowadays talk about binge-watching but I have taken it to a whole new level! Even when I used to work a desk job, I’d watch Netflix while I was working. It’s bad! 
4. I’m addicted to Burts Bees! It’s a real addiction. If I forget my stick, I will freak out! It’s rare that I do forget one because I have a tube downstairs, upstairs, in my car, in Sara’s car, Diaper bag, and bedside table. No exaggeration! 
5. I don’t find cat videos funny… There I said it.
   
6. I’m having a yard battle with my neighbor… After our new neighbors moved in last summer, we’ve since been having a mutual battle to see who can have the nicest front yard. I think our wives secretly fuel it so we will get the yard work done. 
7. Like any great millennial, I can fix almost anything in our house after watching a YouTube video… This scares Sara when I take on a serious plumbing issue via a YouTube Video. Hey, I just saved us $600! 
8. I may or may not – use the YMCA as a place to get some baby free time. For those of you who don’t have kids or a YMCA membership. They have a daycare while you work out. So if I need a little me time. I go work out. Even though I may not feel like working out, I know they will take the lil man off my hands for an hour. It’s good for my mind and I’m getting some exercise. 
9. I’ve gone a week without sleep… I’ve don’t this a couple times. I have legit “sleep anxiety” its like insomnia but with anxiety. It’s been a long time since that happened thanks to some good sleep medication 😉 
10. I’ve broken 10 bones… I was a very crazy child. Everything from chipped teeth to broken ankles. I think the worst was my ankle. I’ve actually broken it twice… In a row. The day I got out of the cast – I broke it again. I spent the first 6 months of high school on crutches.
